This weekend, Brock Lesnar will have the chance to join “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, as the only three-time Royal Rumble champion in history. On the 1/27 “WWE SmackDown” in Laredo, Texas, Lesnar announced his participation in the 30-man fight royal after scaling the barrier and punching Bobby Lashley with an F5.
“See you at the Royal Rumble, Bobby,” Lesnar greeted Lashley after the ambush. Earlier in the program, The New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston stopped Austin Theory as he was promising to win the Royal Rumble and went on to make fun of the US Champion for thinking he had a chance on Saturday.
When Theory referred to himself as “the biggest star in WWE,” the A-Lister also declared his participation in the Royal Rumble, and The Miz followed suit, both men left the ring. Before being ambushed by Lesnar, Lashley finally entered the ring and dispatched everyone.
