WWE Big stars of the Past The Authors of Pain are rumoured to be planning a comeback in the ring. Akam as well as Rezar haven’t wrestled in over two decades, since the COVID-19 global epidemic really got going, however there are rumours that the former RAW Tag Team Champions are planning to return to the ring.
Akam and Rezar had also reportedly approached other superstars about organizing the event in mid – june from Dubai. They strive to promote the event while also wrestling on the card. According to a source, I’m not sure how frequently they’ll be wrestling, but they’re planning to do this one.
AOP retired from pro wrestling
Last year, there were rumours that AOP had retired from pro wrestling after Rezar told a reporter he was no longer a wrestler and a promoter was told they were retired once he tried to book them.
They later explained that they had been not finished, and their former manager, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering, stated the same thing, but there have been no further updates since then. Promoters have attempted to book them in recent years but have not received a response, but term is that AOP will be heading back to pro wrestling, at least in certain capacity, in Dubai.
This event in Dubai would be Akam and Rezar’s first non-WWE pro wrestling match. WWE signed Akam, who turns 29 on May 20, in October 2014, whilst also Rezar, who ultimately turned 28 on June 16, signed with WWE in May 2015. They hosted the WWE NXT as well as RAW Tag Team Championships before even being released from their agreements on September 4, 2020.
AOP haven’t yet wrestled since March 9, 2020 episode of RAW, when they partnered with Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy to defeat The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders in an eight-man tag team match. Both Akam and Rezar haven’t wrestled in over two decades, since the COVID-19 global epidemic really got rolling, but there are claims that the former RAW Tag Team Champions are intending to enter the ring.
