What Is Team Seas?

The YouTuber launched a new project by the name of ‘TeamSeas’ back in October 2021. The project aims to clean the oceans, 30 million pounds of waste in particular. Within the first week of Team Seas launch alone, MrBeast and his team cleaned up six million pounds of waste from the ocean [$1 = 1 pound waste removed].

MrBeast has been talking about his latest endeavor a lot, be it asking Jake Paul to donate to his cause or appearing at the Jimmy Kemmel Live Show, he has done it all.

And now, the Team Seas project has officially surpassed its $30 million donation goal, enabling the team to remove 30 million pound of waste from the ocean.

‘We Did It’

“We did it!” he said. “Austin Russell noticed we came up a few million pounds short, so he got us over 30 million.”

“We literally raised enough money to remove 30,000,000 pounds of trash from the ocean. That’s freakin’ insane,” the YouTuber said in a subsequent tweet. “It just hit me how crazy that number is.”

The Team Seas project is not going to end anytime soon as the donation drive remains open for everyone. If you feel like doing something for the planet, donating a dime towards the Team Seas project might be of help.
