Thor : Love & Thunder writer/director Taika Waititi recently sat down with Total Film in an interview. Taika Waititi explained how the upcoming sequel to Thor has actually benefited from the delay caused by Covid-19 crisis.

He said, “There are a few positive things I can take away [from the Covid-19 crisis]. One of them is that a lot of these films, and films in general, are rushed, or you don’t have as much time as you’d want to have on the script and things like that.”

Taika further opened up and said that he was still writing the film. He added that the delay will help him bring out an even better product.

The director continued by saying, “And with writing, especially, you should use as much of that time as possible to get your story right. because you never really get it later on. Film is an industry where you’re always complaining about not having enough time. I think, right now, we’ve given ourselves a huge amount of time to work on all sort of things, so we may as well use it.”

Taiks Waititi also directed Thor: Ragnarok and will reunite with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in Thor : Love and Thunder. Also joining the cast will be Natalie Portman.

Recently, Avengers Endgame completed its one year anniversary and fans took to social media to express their love for the franchise. Joe Russo also expressed their(Russo brothers) desire to re-release the film once lockdown is over.
