Under Virat Kohli’s guidance, Team India will be eager to win this series. However, in the midst of all of this, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has begun discussions with BCCI officials on the World Cup’s schedule.
Meeting With Officials
This was revealed by a senior BCCI official to the news agency PTI. He stated that BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, Secretary Jay Shah, and Vice President Rajiv Shukla met with captain Virat Kohli during the Lord’s Test to discuss the 2017 T20 World Cup.
During the meeting, all aspects were addressed. “Yes, top BCCI officials met with Indian skipper Kohli, but it would be improper to go into detail about the meetings,” the official said. There isn’t much time left before the T20 World Cup begins. The World Cup comes right after the IPL. This was the subject of a special discussion during the gathering.
From October 17 to November 14, the T20 World Cup will be place in Oman and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah). The ICC recently revealed the tournament’s complete schedule. According to this, India will face Pakistan in their opening T20 World Cup match on October 24.
This event was originally planned to take place in India, but the ICC moved it to the UAE because to the situation with Corona. However, India will continue to host the competition.
