As per Steve Toussaint’s Lord Corlys, the second season of House of the Dragon is like a Taylor Swift song. The outcome of season one will surely have more revenge in season two. The house of black will surely get its vengeance by attacking the house of green as Rhaenyra and Corlys are leading the Blacks.
The last episode of season 1 saw Aemond demanding Lucerys to give his eye because of losing his own. Lucerys was not on board with having any fights with Aemond as he promised his mother, Rhaenyra. He rode off on his dragon, Arrax but Aemond still pursues him on Vhagar.
Even after demanding to stop, the dragons defied their riders, and Arrax burns Vhagar which ticks the dragon off. Vhagar devours Lucerys along with Arrax which also shocks his rider, Aemond. Rhaenyra’s son and Corlys’ grandson was killed so brutally when he only went as a messenger.
Steve Toussaint who plays Lord Corlys revealed in an interview recently his true feelings about Rhaenyra. He also shared what we can expect from season 2 as there will be a face-off with Targaryens in an epic showdown.
The actor said, “I think pretty much, as is indicated at the end of this last season, is the fact that he decided whatever I may think about Rhaenyra personally, that she is the rightful heir to the throne. The land grab the Hightowers have done is treacherous, and they need to be made to pay for that.”
He also added that his grandson was killed and even though he wasn’t. Steve said the character will certainly seek revenge and will need to be paid for this. Furthermore, the actor was also asked what can fans expect from the second season he was not keen to say much.
He shared that there is going to be an “all-out war”. Steve revealed that he has not seen any scripts yet and has been told some great stuff will happen. “It’s gonna be incredible,” said the actor.
