Steve Aoki Reunites With BTS At Las Vegas Concert

During their Permission to Dance Las Vegas concert, BTS’ pal Steve Aoki stepped up to express his support. The DJ went backstage before the show to meet the septet.

On his Instagram Stories, the American DJ shared videos of their reunion backstage before the event. BTS was seen in the video fooling about with the DJ as if they were old friends.

Aoki also posted images on Twitter, claiming that he was the only one who wasn’t dressed in the colour scheme. The septet was dressed in red and white in the photo released by Steve. He captioned the photograph:

“Oops, I forgot to wear red and white.”

He also shared a video of himself performing his signature ‘Aoki Jump’ with the gang. The Aoki Jump is Aoki’s signature posture, in which the DJ jumps in the air with his hands and legs agape and his mouth gaping.

The DJ’s appearance during the performance pleasantly surprised fans. Many others shared recordings of him dancing to the song and expressed their happiness at the reconnection. Fans immediately began trending ‘STEVE AOKI’ on Twitter.

Steve Aoki, a long-time supporter of BTS, was the group’s first American collaborator. He remixed their re-released hit Mic Drop, which also included rapper Desiigner. BTS’s first entry into the Billboard Hot 100 Top 40, the remix, debuted at number 28.

The hit song became the septet’s fourth video to surpass one billion views. The DJ also worked with the group on their 2018 hit The Truth Untold, which was performed by Jungkook, V, Jin, and Jimin.

In November, Aoki teamed with the septet for the third time on his song Waste it on me. The song is from Neon Future III, his fifth studio album, which was released on November 9, 2018.
