Bosslogic has posted new Spider-Man: No Way Home fan art, showing Spider-Man with laser web-shooters. The film is the third episode in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy, and it pits him against a number of well-known Spider-Man villains from various franchises. The film is presently coming to theaters and is doing well at the box office.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is a direct sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home, in which Peter Parker is revealed to the world as Spider-Man and is forced to deal with the repercussions. In a desperate attempt to save himself, Peter asks Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to create a spell that will make everyone forget he was ever Spider-Man.
However, owing to some multiverse tampering, things go bad, and Peter soon finds himself surrounded by villains from the previous live-action Spider-Man films. After being forced to send them all back to their homeworlds (to avoid their deaths), Peter lets Strange finish the spell and builds his own Spider-Man suit from the ground up, forsaking the Stark Tech he had relied on for the previous three films and becoming a genuine Spider-Man.
Last month, Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in theatres, and it has since ruled the box office. As a result, the film’s fan base has been passionate. In fact, Bosslogic, a popular fan art account, has produced a new piece of fan art showing Peter’s web-shooters as filled lasers.
Take a look at the video below.
The short film features Peter in his No Way Home attire, but his traditional web-shooters have been replaced with laser blasters that discharge a red beam, as indicated by the animated fan art. Of course, as Bosslogic pointed out in the artwork, there’s no practical need for the web-shooters to be replaced with lasers.
It just looks cool and adds a nice twist to the usual Spider-Man color palette by bringing even more red into the picture.
