Sonu Sood To Recreate Altaf Raja’s Iconic Song ‘Tum To Thehre Pardesi’

The past decade has witnessed plenty of Bollywood old song remakes. It is like that the modern remake of classic Bollywood anthems has been the trend recently!

While some remakes turned out to be super hit, and some proved to be much better than the original version itself, while some others were unable to meet the expectations of the audience and were termed a ‘disaster’.

Sonu Sood And Farah Khan To Work Together

Join the crowd, it is now turn for the Bollywood’s COVID messiah to jump on the train. Actor Sonu Sood and well-known dance choreographer and director Farah Khan are all ready to remake the new version of Altaf Raja’s ‘Tum To Thehre Pardesi’.

In this case, the song is expected to produce a mixture of urban and rural cultures. The song became popular as the official breakup and sad song during the 90s.

Who Will Sing The Remake?

According to a press release, the song will be sung by artists Tony Kakkar and Altaf Raja and will feature Sonu Sood.

The song is set to be released on Sonu Sood’s birthday, i.e on July 30. Reports indicate that when Suu was contacted about doing the remake of the song, he reached out to Farah.

Sonu Sood and Farah Khan are great friends and their bonds started in 2014 while working on the film Happy New Year. Their bond grew even stronger during the pandemic when both of them came together to help those in need.

Shooting Set To Begin

The song will be released under the label Desi Music Factory and will be shot in the fields in Punjab.

Setup is done in Chandigarh. The actor is currently in his hometown of Moga and will be heading to Chandigarh soon for the song shooting. Initially, the shoot was supposed to take place between July 19 and 22. However, with heavy rains in the Punjab, plans were delayed.

Now, Farah and Sonu will head to Chandigarh today and will wrap up the song in the next two days.
