Snowpiercer Fourth Season Production Paused Due To Extreme Hot Weather

Snowpiercer’s fourth and final season is in production now, but because of some issues, the production has paused. Let’s find out the reason behind it.

Snowpiercer is a show which requires an environment that is kind of cold, the filming is taking place in British Columbia where the temperature frequently rises to cause extreme heat.

Due to this many cast and crew members were exhausted and suffocated by heat, and were taken to the hospital. Until the situation becomes better and people are back safely on the sets, till then the production will be at a halt.

In a statement, they said, ” Out of an abundance of caution, production of ‘Snowpiercer’ wrapped early yesterday and was suspended for today due to extreme heat on location. The health and well-being of the show cast and crew remain a top priority.”

According to the reports, at least 14 people were taken to the hospital due to heat which reached its mid-90s.

Season 4 is said to release next year.
