San Diego Comic-Con gave a glimpse of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, with James Gunn and the cast swiftly breaking down the clip once it had been shown. Marvel fans who were present at the event are lucky to have witnessed it. However, it’s not going to be available to the audience anytime sooner.
The clip has released a massive look at one of the main characters of the Guardians family which got the audience’s emotions. The teaser revealed the first look at Will Poulter’s Adam Warlock to a younger version of Rocket Raccoon.
As reported earlier the space guards will get new costumes that look like comics. Guess what, the clip has confirmed that the characters have a comic-accurate look in the new movie. Part of the crew, including Dave Bautista’s Drax, is featured in one of the images wearing blue costumes with red accents, exactly like they did during the acclaimed Marvel Comics cosmic era, which was overseen in part by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning.
“Exactly 10 years ago this week, I flew to Wilmington, North Carolina, where [Kevin Feige was] shooting Iron Man 3,” Said the director of the Guardians series James Gunn at the Hall H panel of Comic-Con. That is when James Gunn initiated the idea of directing the Guardians series for the Marvel franchise. He also said that he fell in love with the characters at the beginning of this journey.
This movie will mark the final part of the Guardians series. In Volume 3 of the GOTG, Star-Lord and his team will be seen on a journey to find their missing family member ‘Gamora’- played by Zoe Saldana.
However, there is a possibility that the other members of the space warriors- Guardians Of The Galaxy will be appearing in some MCU movies later. But sadly we will not be seeing much of Drax in the future as confirmed by the director.
The last time the guardians were seen together was in Avengers: Endgame joining hands with Thor, which we will see in the recent upcoming movie Thor: Love and Thunder, which stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, and his space friends Drax played by Dave Bautista, Nebula by Karen Gillan, Mantis by Pom Klementieff, Kraglin by Sean Gunn, Groot by Vin Diesel and Rocket Raccoon by Bradley Cooper.
