Bigg Boss 13 winner and the actor Sidharth Shukla has reportedly been finalised to play the male lead in third season of the web series Broken But Beautiful!
The television actor Sidharth Shukla was already pretty famous. But he received even more love and fame when he appeared in the TV reality show Bigg Boss 13. His fan following has increased to a great extent after he emerged as the winner of the show.
Now there seems to be some good news for all his fans. Reportedly, Sidharth has been roped in to play the male lead in third season of the web series Broken But Beautiful.
It was recently when the daily soap queen Ekta Kapoor had announced the third season on social media. She had also revealed that this time Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi will not be a part of the show. The producer even asked the audience for some recommendations.
Now a source has informed India Today that it is Sid who has been finalised for the show. “Ekta wanted to cast actors who can justify the plot and appeal to the audiences in the same way that the previous leads did. While a lot of names were thrown on the table, Sidharth Shukla has been finalised to carry on the baton. The search for the female lead is on,” said the source.
Broken But Beautiful has been really popular amongst the people who like the genre romance. People have been eagerly waiting for season 3.
While the male lead is apparently finalised, the makers are still hunting for the female lead. It will be interesting to see if they rope in Shehnaaz Gill for the role, who was romantically involved with Sid while they were inside the Bigg Boss house.
