Youtuber Shane Dawson has been teasing his return to Youtube for quite some time. This comes after the allegations which resurfaced online where he was taken down by the internet.
The Youtuber had revealed that he has to accept it and his latest video has now garnered 1.1 million views in less than six hours. He talks about the reasons he was forced to leave the internet for over a year.
The Youtuber talked about his re-ignited inspiration for making videos again. He revealed that he is happy sitting in “this weird, dark living room” with his fiance Ryland watching candle reviews. However, he revealed he wants to make movies and get creative again. But he says that is not on the top of his priority list.
Shane revealed he has an inclination towards creating horror movies in the next chapter of his life. He is definitely inspired to do so at his new home in Colorado. Shane was one of the biggest Youtubers online until his past actions resurfaced on the internet. Many controversies came to light as he was getting ready to launch his first makeup collection with Jeffree Star.
The Youtuber was accused of using blackface and using racial slurs in his older videos. He had also cracked pedophilic jokes online which did not go down well with the internet. However, the most controversial of them all has to be him making inappropriate gestures towards then child Willow Smith. She was 11 years old at that time and he was called out by her mother Jada Pinkett Smith.

The influencer was also accused of manipulating beauty vlogger Tati Westbrook into releasing the Bye Sister video. Now, Shane had teased on his social media handle that he was ready to return to Youtube and was waiting for inspiration. As per rumours, he was going to return with a documentary on Britney Spears.
Shane admitted in his latest video to begin embarrassed about the stuff he did in the past. The influencer used humour as his defence mechanism to deal with his emotions regarding the past. He said, “I have had such an intense last year, last year and a half…I have to talk about some stuff. It’s weird. I definitely feel ashamed and embarrassed over a lot of the stuff, old clips, that started coming out when I got cancelled.”
The Youtuber said that no matter what he is going to talk about, he will get hate and he has to accept it. He addressed his cancellation online and said he was becoming proud of what he was making on Youtube but then everything spiralled. The influencer admitted to being upset because he made so much growth and he was being cancelled over the things in the past.
However, he said that is not him anymore and it made him realize that he cannot focus on what other people think of him. He shared, “I learned a lot. I’m so happy it happened. So grateful I got cancelled because it really changed my life.”
His return has brought in different kinds of reactions from the internet. Few people criticized him and his audacity to come back on the internet. But fans also expressed their excitement for his upcoming videos.
