Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah also star in Darlings. Vijay also uploaded a photo of himself on the set of the film on Instagram. As he prepares to shoot the movie, he can be seen gripping the clapperboard.

Darlings is the storey of a funny mother-daughter combo trying to find their place in the world while navigating through unlikely scenarios. The dark comedy takes place in Mumbai, against the backdrop of a conservative lower-middle-class neighbourhood, and follows the lives of two women as they find courage and love under unusual circumstances.
