Sanjay Khan to re-launch son Zayed Khan with his film, says – As a father, it is my duty!
Director Sanjay Khan is going to make a film to re-launch his son Zayed Khan in the Bollywood film industry!
Zayed Khan, whom you might recall as Lucky from Main Hoon Na, is all set to be back on the screens. The actor is going to make a comeback with his father’s film. Sanjay Khan is planning to make a biopic on Brigadier Mohammad Usman, a war hero from India-Pakistan 1947 war.
The director feels that as a father, it is his duty to make a film for his son and re-launch him in the Bollywood film industry. It will be for the first time when Sanjay will be directing his son Zayed on the screens.
Talking to Mid Day about same, he said, “He is one of the most handsome actors in the film industry. As a father, it is my duty to make a film for him. The audience will rediscover him in the movie.”
The father added on saying, “I am working hard on the script because I want to make it as authentic as possible. I want to depict the Indian Army’s bravery. And how they fought despite not being armed with sufficient artillery and equipment.”
Talking about the actor, Zayed Khan had made his acting debut with the film Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne back in the year 2003. However, it was with the film Main Hoon Na in 2004 that he gained the popularity.
