Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all praises for Sushmita Sen’s comeback with the crime-drama web series Arya!
Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has made a power-packed comeback with the crime drama web series Aarya. She plays the role of a house-wife who gets into dark family business after her husband dies.
While the show has got some rave reviews from the critics, people have been lauding her performance in the show. Now she has received another appreciative post, this time by a superstar. Salman Khan has shared a video where he is in praises of Sushmita. Both of them had worked together in films like Biwi No 1 and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.
In the short clip, we can hear Salman appreciating his co-star in Dabangg style. He says, “Swagat toh karo Aarya ka. Isse kehte hai Dabangg. Aarya dekhne ke baad, Sushmita ke liye mere paas ek dialogue hai, ‘Ek baar maine jo Aarya ka ek episode dekh lia, uske baad saare episode dekhe bina main nahi rukunga.”
He shared the video on his social media accounts captioning it as, “Swagat toh karo Aarya ka! What a comeback and what a show! Congratulations @Sushmitasen47 Lots of love.”
What we loved even more is the actress’ reply which brought back some memories. Sushmita wrote, “I want to add another favourite dialogue “Haye mera bachcha” Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan for the love & appreciation, it means d world to us at #TeamAarya I love you!!! #cherished @RamKMadhvani@DisneyplusHSVIP.”
Talking about Aarya, the web series released on Disney Plus Hotstar on June 19. The series is based on the Dutch show titled Penoza. Directed by Ram Madhvani, the series also stars Chandrachur Singh, Sikandar Kher, Manish Chaudhari, Namit Das and Vinod Rawat in pivotal roles.
