Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is currently shooting for his upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The actor along with, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Rajya Sabha MP and Green India founder J Santosh Kumar, has participated in the Green India Challenge 5.0. The actor is currently busy as he is shooting for his upcoming film and is accompanied by his film crew.
Salman, planted a sapling at the Ramoji Film City on Tuesday. The actor joined and participated the green India challenge and he even urged his fans to plant trees, to protect the environment. Salman has also appreciated the mission which is taken up by the MP. On the special occasion of planting the sapling, the actor said, “Planting trees is a very good thing. I don`t know why people take interest in cutting trees. It is said that when a man stops growing, you should plant a tree. Tree is a still man and a man is a walking tree. This bond is very important.”
The actor also spoke about the importance of planting the trees and further went on by saying, “wherever you have trees, you will have water”.
The actor further said that, everyone should take up the responsibility of the plantation program and planting the trees, and should also take adequate care of those saplings until they grow into big trees.
Salman Posted About the Special Event on His Twitter
The release quoted the actor saying, “It is unfortunate that human loss due to natural calamities such as heavy rain and floods is immense. The only solution to check the loss is promoting plantation, the release quoted the actor as saying.” The actor took to his Twitter account and made a post related to the special occasion, and posted a picture where he is seen planting a sapling.
Salman will be next seen in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, along with Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, and many other stars.
