Return to Hogwarts marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter, and there’s no denying that a lot has happened in that time. For example, Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, is now the father of a one-year-old daughter Wednesday. The actor talked about accepting fatherhood in a recent interview with ET.
The 33-year-old actor and his longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome welcomed their first child in 2020, and he recently discussed how things have changed for him since becoming a father. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he discussed the third season of his AppleTV+ show, Servant, as well as the Harry Potter reunion, and he even revealed some personal details about being a father.
The actor remarked, “Everything has changed for me since my daughter Wednesday was born,” when asked how his life has changed since his daughter was born “It’s fantastic. Being a father is a dream come true for me. It is just the greatest. It’s incredible how it fully controls everything. It’s amazing since it’s all I actually care about.”
Grint also remarked how thrilled he was of his daughter’s reaction after he took her on the set of his M. Night Shyamalan series. Despite the fact that the show is a thriller, the actor stated that his daughter wrongly assumed she had visited the set of Sesame Street.
Grint was joined by other members of the Harry Potter cast, including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Tom Felton, Gary Oldman, Helena Bonham Carter, and Bonnie Wright, during the Harry Potter reunion. On January 1, the reunion special will be available on Amazon Prime Video.
