RRR is set to release on January 7, 2022, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR

RRR, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has been generating a lot of buzz since its announcement. The film’s producers have confirmed the film’s release date amid high expectations. On January 7, 2022, RRR will be released in theatres.

RRR is set in the pre-Independence era of the 1920s, and it stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the characters of Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem, two heroic freedom fighters.

RRR features Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, as well as foreign performers Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody in supporting parts, and was made on a luxury budget of Rs 400 crore. In the upcoming magnum epic, Samuthirakani plays a key part.

The highly anticipated film of 2022, directed by India’s most celebrated filmmaker SS Rajamouli of Baahubali fame, is produced by DVV Danayya, with PEN Studios owning the theatre distribution rights in North India.

Meanwhile, the film’s first song, ‘Dosti,’ was recently released, and it honors Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s characters’ unique and unbreakable connection in the film.

RRR’s creators, audience, and everyone else have given their all to the film; now it’s up to us to see what’s in store for us. RRR’s worldwide theatrical rights have been estimated to be around Rs 570 crore.

Few Days Earlier

The filmmakers announced the release date a few days ago on the film’s official Twitter account “Post-production is nearly complete, and the #RRRMovie will be ready by October 21. However, as many people are aware, we are delaying the release, but we are unable to announce a new date because the theatres are currently shuttered indefinitely. When the world cinema markets are up and running, we will release as soon as possible.”

RRR is a fictional story of Alluri Sitarama and Komaram Bheem, two Indian revolutionaries who fought against the British and the Nizams of Hyderabad. Alluri Sitarama will be played by Ram Charan, and Komaram Bheem will be played by Jr NTR.

Alia Bhatt will play Sitarama’s lover “Sita,” while Olivia Morris will be Komaram Bheem’s love interest. Ajay Devgn, a Bollywood star, will also play a pivotal role in the epic.
