Roman Reigns' WWE Schedule Has Been Reviewed and Updated

Roman Reigns’ WWE Schedule Has Been Reviewed and Updated

Following the June 24 SmackDown taping, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is no longer listed on WWE’s webpage for any WWE TV tapings or live shows in July or August.

As of this composing, The Tribal Chief’s only upcoming appearances are the Money in the Bank as well as SummerSlam Premium Big Shows in July. SummerSlam will be held on July 30 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN. While MITB will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on July 2. WWE has declared more than 30 live events for the summer of 2022 as part of their touring schedule.

Reigns reportedly recently signed a new WWE contract that will see him operate fewer dates for the corporation. Prior to WrestleMania Backlash, Reigns caused outrage in the wrestling world with his remarks at a WWE live event in Trenton, New Jersey over weekend.

I’m entering a new phase of my professional life, and I genuinely don’t know if I’ll be back here ever again, said Roman Reigns. If this is the case, I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help over the years.

WWE Is Delaying A Singles Match

As according Dave Meltzer, WWE is delaying a singles match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre until a bigger event. The two men might well face off in a six-man tag team match at the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash premium live event. Both Roman Reigns as well as Drew McIntyre were inserted into the previously intended RK-Bro vs. The Usos unification match. At this point, it’s unclear whether some of the titles would be on the line.

Lately, Roman Reigns as well as Drew McIntyre have already been trying to compete in singles matches at live events. This was the case previously to WrestleMania 38, and it has remained so since. However, WWE is going to hold off on getting them compete at a high-profile live event including both titles. This is simply because WWE wants to do this at a larger show because it considers this a significant match.

Regarding WrestleMania Backlash, WWE will hold its yearly Hell In A Cell event in June. Following that, the firm will host 2 significant stadium events in July, Money In The Bank as well as SummerSlam, which may be when WWE decides to bring back Roman Reigns.
