The Roman Reigns will not be able to regroup from The Usos’ campaign to become the undisputed champion team. Reigns made a big splash in the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash match between SmackDown Usos tag team champions and Raw tag team RK-Bro.
An interesting feud between The Usos and RK-Bro took an exciting turn with the addition of Reigns and Drew McIntyre. Paul Heyman, a special adviser to the undisputed world champion, tried to persuade official Adam Pearce to make a six-man tag game at the WrestleMania Backlash. If successful, tag team titles may be included in a game that includes Bloodline vs. RK-Bro and McIntyre.
The uploaded episode of SmackDown – previously recorded in Albany, New York last week – also featured SmackDown women’s champion Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the Beat the Clock “I Quit” challenge, with Ricochet defending her title intercontinental.
Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre enter into the tag team title feud
Reigns makes a powerful move, McIntyre enters the fray and the tag team titles continue to shine.
Usos and RK-Bro met in the middle of the ring to sign their contract for the WrestleMania Backlash team. Randy Orton and Riddle participated in some trash interview with Jey and Jimmy Uso as the author Adam Pearce watched. The tension intensified as Usos dug into the table and an argument ensued.
Enter Roman Reigns, followed by Paul Heyman. Reigns disrupted RK-Bro long enough for Usos to close the eyes of the Raw tag team champions. Reigns broke the treaty and put the remains in Riddle’s mouth.
McIntyre stormed the ring, knocking out SmackDown tag team champions and staring at the undisputed world champion. Reigns took the plunge, got into the ring and soon found the suplex and stomach in McIntyre.
After that, Heyman walked into Pearce’s office. Heyman urged Pearce to add Reigns and McIntyre to the WrestleMania Backlash tag team game. Pearce informed Heyman that he could not simply change the title game. Heyman has threatened to face the WWE board if Pearce rejects Reigns’ request.
WWE announced after SmackDown that the six-tag team match was officially WrestleMania Backlash; however, no tag group topics were mentioned.
Exciting, logical development in the band-cover-up match between The Usos and RK-Bro. Reliable, powerful performance delivered by four men so far has made the mark team team feel more important than in previous years. The addition of Reigns and McIntyre could ultimately damage the final product. At the moment, it is an interesting alliance in the story. Riddle defeated Jey and Jimmy Uso in a one-man match in the last two episodes of SmackDown. Reigns, who wanted Usos to cover the topics in the first place, may not trust his cousin’s chances. What better way to ensure Bloodline’s continued success than to put himself in the equation. Heyman tries to strengthen his arm Pearce continues to show Reigns’ despair.
