One of the stories that has followed her has been about her physical characteristics, with some claiming that she has a masculine body and lacks several feminine traits. The narrative has followed Ripley since her early days in NXT, and she has never shied away from putting her critics in their place. On Wednesday, one such fan will indeed react to a photo of Ripley flexing after one workout on Twitter.
As previously reported, Ripley revealed on Instagram that she is currently sidelined due to a brain/teeth injury, but she did not elaborate. It appears that her injury was caused by a previous mishap that required her to have dental work done. On June 8, The Nightmare shared photos of a metal-looking wire trying to hold her front teeth in place.
Fans believe Ripley’s knee smashed into her own head on the June 6 episode of Raw after she took a DDT from Liv Morgan during one Fatal Four-Way to helm a No. 1 contender to Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship. Ripley won the fight, but she hasn’t been back in the ring since.
Carmella crushed Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, as well as Becky Lynch in another Fatal Four-Way this week on the Raw to earn a shot at Belair’s title at the Money in the Bank premium live event. The highly anticipated match between Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley is scheduled for the July 30 SummerSlam premium live event.
Ripley’ Brain/teeth Injury
There were no additional details provided at the time as to what was happening with the member of The Judgment Day faction. Along with a new post on instagram, a user commented on her photo, writing, You don’t look wounded like someone said. Ripley would protect herself, and her response provides some insight into her injuries.
Brain/teeth damage, there is no evidence of a brain injury. Stop being inept and aiming for nothing. The ongoing injury could be related to a previous accident that needed her to have dental treatment. Ripley posted photos on June 8 of a metal wire that appears to hold her front teeth in place, the result of a stiff knee colliding with her mouth.
Because she was unable to compete at MITB on July 2, a new #1 contender for Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship was determined shortly after the announcement on Raw this week. Carmella defeated Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Asuka, and Becky Lynch to earn a title shot at the Premium Live Event.
