Without John Cena, WrestleMania isn’t WrestleMania, as Michael Cole has frequently stated. And the 16-time WWE World Champion will formally make a comeback in April on the Grandest Stage of Them All in a match against Austin Theory with the United States Title on the line. Nonetheless, it did need some persuasion.
Cena’s appearance on “WWE Raw” on Monday night was met with a thunderous pop in his native Massachusetts. But before he could even speak, Theory’s music started, and everything changed. Reports acknowledged that while he had the utmost regard for his hero, he also had a gift for him. Which gift? Nothing else besides a contest at WrestleMania.
The “Peacemaker” star, though, had a short and direct response for the champion: “No.” Theories continued to provoke Cena, even making fun of his bald spot. Because nobody cares, Cena said, “I would so much rather be bald than have them pipe in fake crowd noises for my matches.” The youngest American champion in WWE history responded by accusing Cena of quitting and abandoning the audience.
Austin Theory and John Cena
The man who stood behind the slogan “Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect” obviously wouldn’t stand for it. He changed his message after telling Theory he lacked heart or intelligence.”Even though I don’t care about you, I’ll always fight for them. You just committed the biggest mistake of your life; keep this moment in mind. Austin Theory and John Cena will compete for the United States Championship at WrestleMania.”
John Cena will be present for the WWE Raw programme airing on March 6 in his native Boston, Massachusetts. In Melbourne, Australia, the former wrestler-turned-actor has recently been very busy filming sequences for the comedy Ricky Stanicky, which also features Jim Carrey and Zac Efron.
Notably, his subsequent WWE performance will take place during the build-up to WrestleMania 39, which will take place in Los Angeles, California, on April 1 and 2. There are rumours that at the important two-night event, Cena will square off against Austin Theory, the reigning WWE United States Champion.
