Priyanka Chopra pays a special tribute to Rishi Kapoor with this note in Time magazine

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has penned down a column in the latest edition of Time magazine remembering the late actor Rishi Kapoor!

It’s been more than a week since the actor Rishi Kapoor died. But tributes are still pouring in for the actor. The latest one has come from the actress Priyanka Chopra who has penned down a special column in Time magazine.

She wrote, “From his first leading role in 1973’s Bobby, he was the keeper of our hearts, ushering in a new era of romance in Hindi movies. His charisma was in his extraordinary smile, one that made his fans go weak in the knees. And when he danced, he made us all want to jump up and join him.”

PeeCee added on saying how Rishi ji began playing character that were removed from his earlier films, in the latter part of his career.  She also talked about how she had the privilege of working with him in Agneepath.

Calling Rishi Kapoor’s death ‘the end of an era for Hindi cinema’, she added how the late actor’s father Raj Kapoor once said in Mera Naam Joker, ‘the show must go on’.

“To your beautiful family, Neetu Ma’am, Riddhima and Ranbir: the world grieves with you… I’m so grateful for having had the opportunity of knowing you personally as well—your candour, your laughter, your zest for life. That’s how I’ll always remember you,” concluded Priyanka.
