Prince Harry & Meghan Markle have already announced their trip to United Kingdom & Germany, this September for some charitable events. Ahead of their visit to the UK, Prince Harry took a solo trip to Africa, let’s find out what’s the reason.
Currently, the Duke of Sussex is in Mozambique for a non-profit organization event. It’s known that Prince Harry, who is also the President of the African Parks Network is carrying out conservation work there.
The non-profit conservation group manages the wildlife and nature of the continent. One of Harry’s spokesperson says he is co-hosting “a group of US officials, conservationists, and philanthropists as they tour protected wildlife and nature areas”.
Prince Harry was on a secret trip and it was not known by many. Until the US embassy shared some images of the Duke of Sussex.
Previously on Nelson Mandela Day, Harry shared his experience of Africa when he was 13years old. He said that he has “always found hope on this continent”. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took several trips to Africa and also he has a childhood connection with Africa too, as he use to visit with his mother Diana.
Harry considers Africa to be a place where he found “peace” and “healing”. He says, “It’s where I’ve felt closest to my mother and sought solace after she died”. He further adds that he found a soulmate in his wife Meghan in Africa.
Prince Harry’s Tribute To Mother Diana
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex shared a video message to wish the awardees, where he spoke about the impact of her mother’s legacy not just on him but also on the world. He further added about how small actions matter and make the world better.
In his video message, he said, ” My mother instilled in me and in all of us a drive to speak up and fight for a better world. Now as a husband and a parent, my mother’s voice is even stronger in my life. All of you have kept her voice alive by showing the world that each small action counts. How kindness is still valued, and how our world can be better if we choose to make it so.”
