KARACHI: Hamza Ali Abbasi-starrer Parwaaz Hai Junoon will premier in China on November 13, shortly before the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations formed between Pakistan and its main ally.
With a touch of romance, the aerial combat-war film honours the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and the pilots who put their lives at risk to protect the people of the world.

In a statement released earlier this year, the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad said one of the “16 local-to-local collaborations” to foster local cooperation between the two friendly nations was the debut of Parwaaz Hai Junoon in Beijing.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon “tells the storey of a group of young patriotic cadets who, after facing all kinds of difficulties and hardships, become the best fighter pilots in Pakistan,” the publication wrote, adding that Chinese people praised the change on social media websites.
“The film also focuses on the growth of female pilots. In the film, one Pakistani woman gives up a luxury life and overcomes several obstacles through the power of love and eventually achieves her dream of becoming a JF-17 fighter jet pilot,” it added.
