Oscars 2023 Might See Chris Rock & Will Smith Hosting Together

It was Chris Rock and Will Smith’s slap incident from Oscars 2022 when the world was alarmed. It was the time when the prestige stage saw the top most controversial moment of the year.  During the Academy awards, Will slapped Chris over making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett hair loss condition. Following to the consequences, Will Smith has been removed from the Academy Awards, likewise banned from attending the same for next 10 years.

If the latest reports are believed, Chris Rock might be back for the Oscars 2023. According to the New York Post, ABC’s President of Entertainment. Craig Erich told that they would like to have comedian Chris Rock back on stage as the host for the Oscars 2023.

He also agreed, “Obviously there was a lot of controversy [surrounding this year’s broadcast], which overshadowed a lot of the positive things about the show, but I was really happy with the program,” Erich stated. “It was the biggest bounce-back of any award show this season”.

The Oscar-winning actor, Will Smith may get soon replaced by Dwayne Johnson in Aladdin 2. Facing the consequences for the same, the King Richard actor is removed from his 2019 Disney release.

Aladdin become a major hit in 2019 and people adored the actor as the Genie. The other cast includes Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. But, now, after the incident, Will is all set to lose his lovable character in the Disney sequel.

On the other hand, Apple has not shared the official date, of Will Smith’s film “Emancipation’, to 2023. As per the reports, the streaming giant has been planning the delay the film’s release to somewhat around 2023. Whereas one source mentioned that, “it’s the unspoken truth” that the action-drama will not hit the platform in 2022.
