Once Vince McMahon Gave Hard Time To WWE’s Retribution Member

Vince McMahon and backstage producers once gave a former member of the WWE’s Retribution member a hard time. TNT’s Terrence and Terrell Hughes are familiar with what goes on behind the scenes in the WWE. They have visited the backstage area a few times and are the sons of WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley.

The brothers talked about a confrontation McMahon had with a performer who had once belonged to the Retribution faction during an interview on “Insight with Chris Van Vliet.” TNT has prior experience producing YouTube episodes for AEW. Terrence explained the distinction between appearing at an AEW event and a WWE one. Tony is a little bit different from AEW, in my opinion, as Terrence stated.

“He would approach us and genuinely provide input regarding the matches and other such items before the agents often arrived to observe. For WWE, it’s a little different since Vince doesn’t approach you.” Terrence said that he thinks AEW has more faith in their enhanced skills when it comes to in-ring work. He claimed that the reason he thinks this is the case is that while AEW lets its talent shine on “Dark” and “Dark: Elevation,” WWE holds tryout bouts.

SummerSlam 2023

The first WWE event at the location since 2007 will be this year’s SummerSlam, which will return to Detroit on Saturday, August 5, at Ford Field, the site of WrestleMania 23. Thirty years ago, the historic WrestleMania III took place at the Pontiac Silverdome, and SummerSlam used to be held at The Place of Auburn Hills.

Michigan has also played host to other significant WWE events in the past. According to a press release, “Landing WWE SummerSlam at Ford Field is a signature win for Detroit.” “WWE history holds a particular spot for Metro Detroit, and many of its classic moments were created there.” “We are grateful that the entire WWE family has given us this fantastic opportunity, and we are looking forward to providing a first-rate experience.”
