John Cena will be present for the WWE Raw programme airing on March 6 in his native Boston, Massachusetts. In Melbourne, Australia, the former wrestler-turned-actor has recently been very busy filming sequences for the comedy Ricky Stanicky, which also features Jim Carrey and Zac Efron.
Notably, his subsequent WWE performance will take place during the build-up to WrestleMania 39, which will take place in Los Angeles, California, on April 1 and 2. There are rumours that at the important two-night event, Cena will square off against Austin Theory, the reigning WWE United States Champion.
Cena last made an appearance for the company on the December 30, 2022, episode of WWE SmackDown, where he and Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. In 2020, the WWE 2K23 video game cover hero competed in the inaugural Firefly Fun House cinematic bout versus Bray Wyatt, making that appearance his most recent WrestleMania appearance.
Unplanned confrontation with The Undertaker
After an unplanned confrontation with The Undertaker, Cena lost his final in-ring match on WWE’s greatest stage in 2018. The winner of the 2022 men’s Money in the Bank briefcase addressed Cena regarding a potential future match with Theory at the WWE Elimination Chamber post-show news conference.

John Cena has been named as the official cover athlete for the next video game, “WWE 2K23,” which will be released on March 17 of this year. The Showcase mode of the game will focus on the 16-time World Champion and go deeply into his history, going all the way back to the prototype character he used when competing in OVW.
Although they all have Cena as the cover star, the Standard edition, Deluxe edition, and Icon edition all have unique cover art. Players will be able to choose between three different cover options. The Deluxe Edition has a black-and-white drawing of Cena as his character Dr Thuganomics. While the Icon Style has a drawing of him winning the WWE Championship.
