Spider-Man: No Way Home has been given a runtime, and it will be one of the longest films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the picture since it was confirmed that villains from previous Spider-Man films, as well as Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, will appear in it.
As with many other films released during the current COVID-19 outbreak, the film’s release date was pushed back. The MCU as a whole was impacted, but 2021 has supplied fans with a wealth of entertainment.
third-longest runtime MCU movie
The runtime of No Way Home, on the other hand, has finally been revealed. Collider reports that a reliable source has revealed the film’s running time would be 2 hours and 30 minutes. After the recently released Eternals and Avengers: Endgame, this will make the film the third-longest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Because there has been so much talk about it recently, it was just a matter of time until it was revealed, especially since the film’s release date is nearing.
Surprisingly, given how complicated No Way Home is growing up to be, the film’s length seems understandable. Many new characters (to the MCU) will be introduced, transforming the film into a big event equal to an Avengers feature. There is a lot of anticipation for the picture because of the historical people, so the creative team will want to deliver on that front.
Meanwhile, it appears that Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will enjoy the film’s length. Some of the MCU’s longest films, most notably Avengers, have also been among its best-received, so Spider-Man: No Way Home should ideally fall into line. Audiences will have to decide if the film’s lengthy runtime is worth it when it is released later this month.
