No Way Home Poster Shows Spider-Man Swinging Over New York’s Mirror Dimension

Another new Spider-Man: No Way Home poster has been unveiled, this time featuring the titular web-head swinging in Doctor Strange’s Mirror Dimension. With two weeks until the release of Marvel Studios and Sony’s next instalment in the MCU; promotion is in full force.

From the continual flood of new posters and TV advertisements; fans have finally been able to catch peeks of the new and returning characters. These showcase a variety of facets of the film while being tight-lipped about the film’s greater themes. They’ve also been thrilled for fans because they’ve seen some familiar Spider-Man faces return for No Way Home.

Spider-Man: No Way Home picks off right where its predecessor; Spider-Man: Far From Home, left off. At the conclusion of that film; Mysterio revealed Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) secret identity and accused him of murder. In order to reclaim his anonymity, Parker seeks the help of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch); to cast a spell that will erase everyone’s memory of the fact that he is Spider-Man.

This is bad news for them because it opens up the multiverse, bringing in Spider-Man adversaries from earlier Sony films. Parker has to deal with the world of magic, which Strange is a part of, in addition to the multiverse madness.

Another poster for No Way Home has been released, and it reveals how much more of Parker’s world will be revealed. The IMAX poster depicts the web-slinger swinging around in a Mirror Dimension New York City; which was first seen in Doctor Strange and then again in Avengers: Infinity War when Strange faces Thanos. Take a look at the poster below:

Parker will ostensibly enter the Mirror Dimension, although it is unknown why

In terms of promotion, it appears that Doctor Strange will play a significant role in the film. He’s appeared in every trailer, as well as many posters and TV advertisements, so it makes sense for this poster to focus on a key facet of Strange’s character. Of course, he may play a role similar to Tony Stark’s in Spider-Man: Homecoming; when his presence was felt throughout the film; affecting Parker and the events that unfolded over the course of the film’s runtime.

He’s also the one who casts the spell that summons the multiverse villains and the alleged Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man incarnations; so he has a lot of focus on that. Parker will ostensibly enter the Mirror Dimension; although it is unknown why other than to say it would be due to his relationship with Strange.

The marketing staff have a big job ahead of them with the movie coming out soon. They’ve done an excellent job of not spoiling many of the major events; and perhaps that trend will continue for the next two weeks. After all, no one wants to know everything about this big picture before they see it. When Spider-Man: No Way Home opens in cinemas on December 17, fans will be able to see how Spider-Man ends up in the Mirror Dimension.
