Nene Leakes, Amand Kloots, And Other Celebrities Who Have Taken The COVID Vaccine

As countries roll out the novel coronavirus vaccine, some great celebrities, such as Nene Leakes and Amanda Kloots, are protecting themselves from the disease by inoculating themselves.

The release of the COVID-19 vaccine is ongoing, and many major celebrities are doing their part by getting inoculated against the coronavirus. It is the older people who are most at risk of needing hospitalization or death if they are found to be infected, the venerable and experienced have been given priority over the virile and youthful.

Here’s a few of them who have already been inoculated against the virus:

Amanda Kloots

Amanda Kloots is officially vaccinated! The incoming host of The Talk, who lost her husband Nick Cordero following a fight with COVID-19 in July 2020, revealed the good news in an Instagram post on February 19. “I just got my COVID 19 injection! I went to a site and waited in my car until all appointments were over in hopes that they had any extra vaccines,” she began, noting that in Los Angeles, only essential workers and people over the age of 65 were able to book appointments.

“I cannot tell you how emotional I was and still am right now. I had Elvis beside me and Live Your Life playing in the car … I have been terrified since Nick has passed, as a single mother, of getting this virus and now I am one step closer to safety.” Although some followers claimed she “jumped the line” by getting the vaccine ahead of essential workers, the fitness instructor took to her IG story to ask her fans to stop “vaccine shaming”. “Everyone should be getting this vaccine, and anyone that gets it, we should be celebrating that one more person has got the vaccine,” she said.

Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne said he was “relieved” to receive the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, giving fans a review with his wife Sharon Osbourne, who has recently recovered from the coronavirus. The 72-year-old appeared virtually in bed with Sharon, 68, on the British talk show Loose Women on February 12. “Of course,” he replied when asked if he had gotten the vaccine yet. “He only had it yesterday,” Sharon added. Ozzy continued, “It felt like I was being stabbed. My arm was hurting yesterday, but I’m glad I got it, you know?’”

Jeff Goldblum

Jeff Goldblum has confirmed he will be there when they finally start shooting the second season of the World According to Jeff Goldblum of Disney +. The 68-year-old Hollywood icon shared the fact that he received the vaccine on February 1, posting a shot of him alongside a healthcare worker in his back yard to his Instagram. “Immense gratitude to all of the frontline healthcare workers, continuing to work tirelessly to keep us all safe,” he captioned the post (which, was a low-key flex, considering the gorgeous landscape at his home, the lovely looking pool, and those animal print shoes.

“As a citizen well into my platinum years, I got my first dose of the vaccine through the LA County Department of Health. I’ll continue to wear masks and practice social distancing. This too shall pass. Grand things are ahead,” he added.

Nene Leakes had a wonderful feeling when she received her dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram to share what the process looked like, in which she admitted she was “too scared of needles.” But Nene overcame her fears, and after receiving the vaccine she was very happy. “I was so emotional about doing this,” the footage of Nene was captioned. She even asked if the healthcare professional who administered the shot would give her the next shot! She also wrote in the above post, “I think we are better off with it than WITHOUT IT.”
