With the impending publication of ‘NCT 127: Limitless,’ K-pop star NCT 127 is ready to move into the realm of graphic novels. With this new original graphic novel, the boyband has collaborated with Z2 Comics, which has previously worked with singers such as Weird Al Yankovic and Gorillaz.
The novel will be published in manhwa style, according to the Z2 Comics website, and will follow the boyband as they prepare for a sold-out show in New York. The plot will take place in both the actual world and a new, bizarre dreamscape, producing a reality-crossing mystery that fans are sure to enjoy.
‘NCT 127: Limitless’ will be available in ten separate hardcovers; one for each current member of the boyband and one for the entire group. The hardcovers will cost US$21.99 apiece, with a bundle of all ten cover variants costing US$199.00. A Deluxe Collectible Edition will also be available, which will feature a custom-designed slipcase; a certificate of authenticity, and other special accessories. The Platinum Collectible Edition will include one limited-edition trading card; as well as a book signed by one of NCT 127’s members.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Z2 Comics to see NCT 127; expand beyond the boundaries of music into graphic novels,” said SM Entertainment, the boyband’s label. “NCT was designed as a project of unlimited potential, unrestrained by geography and formal boundaries.”
‘NCT 127: Limitless’ is scheduled to be published in late summer 2023 in both English and Korean. Pre-orders are currently being accepted on the Z2 Comics website.
NCT 127’s most recent release was the lead song ‘Ay-Yo,’; which appeared on the repackaged edition of their fourth studio album ‘(2 Baddies),’ which was released in January. Fans may look forward to a new dimension of NCT 127’s world; and immerse themselves in their favorite band’s environment with the release of ‘NCT 127: Limitless’ later this year.
