Nawazuddin Siddiqui And Neha Sharma To Share Screen In ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma are all set to share the screen space for the first time in Kushan Nandy’s Jogira Sara Ra Ra. Interestingly, Sanjay Mishra also has a pivotal role in the film. Mimoh Chakraborty is going to be joining the cast as well.
Quirky Romantic Comedy
The movie will be shot in Barabanki town, a tiny quaint and beautiful locale near Lucknow, and will go on floors from 25th February onward. This will be followed by the city of Lucknow, Rahimabad and Benaras. One thing’s for certain is that it’ll be interesting to see Nawazuddin Siddiqui paired opposite a fresh face like Neha Sharma, who’s talent is also criminally underrated, which could finally give her the scope to shine that’s probably eluded her thus far.
Director Kushan Nandy says, “Jogira Sara Ra Ra! is a quirky romantic comedy about an unlikely couple and a host of unusual characters. We begin our start to finish schedule with all of them, from the end of this month, and go on right until the middle of April.
The Cast
It’s exciting to work with Nawaz once again and create something diametrically opposite of what we did last time. This is a very special film for Nawaz and me and the wait because of the covid lockdown seemed endless. I am so glad that finally we are going to be on the sets and will begin shooting. Also I am looking forward to working with Neha and exploring her inherent goofiness and fun vibe.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kushan Nandy have earlier worked together on the 2017 crime-thriller Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. Written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali, Jogira Sara Ra Ra is Produced by Naeem A. Siddiqui and Touchwood Multimedia Creations while Kiran Shyam Shroff is the Creative Producer.
