Jane Foster is all set to yield that Mjolnir in Thor: Love and Thunder and be the next superhero in the Marvel universe. After making her MCU debut in Thor: Dark World as the love interest and ex-girlfriend of Thor, Natalie Portman has spent the last ten months getting in superhero shape and is prepared to reprise her role as Jane.
But her return in the upcoming movie of the Thor series is quite different than what we have seen her as in the previous movies. Jane Foster is now worthy to lift the Hammer and be the new goddess of Thunder and has also gained an appropriate look for it.
With Thor: Love and Thunder being just a few days away and fans are very excited to see the evolution of Thor after his role in the Avengers: Endgame. Kevin Feige has revealed some changes to Natalie’s character.
In an interview with Total Films, he said – “The only thing we assisted with was making the Mighty Thor a little bit taller. That was the only movie magic we used. Everything else was all her.”
Sharing her views about the very character she is about to play in the film Natalie said- “I trained for a long time before and during, and I was doing the whole protein shakes [thing]. It really helped prepare me for the level of action that we ended up doing.”
Further adding she said-“We had incredible stunt doubles who did the really hard stuff, but there’s still a great deal of running and jumping and swords and hammer-fighting. It was definitely helpful to be strong. To have that weight of the cape all day, you want to have some upper-body strength.”
Portman recalled her experience working in the film and said-“We’d rehearse the scene, they’d see the path, and then they’d build a path that was like one foot off the ground or whatever, and I would just walk on that. They would call it a deck, but depending on the accent, sometimes it sounded like something else. Because we’re all children.”

He is on the verge of getting retired from his noble duties that are when Gorr the God Butcher played by Christian Bale interrupts his goal and is on a spree of killing all gods and seeking extinction of all of them. Together, Thor and his friends are set on a cosmic journey to fight against the evil mission of God Butcher and stop him from creating havoc in the universe.
