Naomi Hangs Out With WWE NXT Star

Naomi & Sasha Banks left WWE Raw on May 16th, 2022, yet neither woman has appeared on WWE programming in nearly six months. Banks and Naomi, on the other hand, have both made public appearances outside the company since being suspended following their walk-out, and they have been heavily rumoured to be returning to WWE soon, rumours that don’t get any quieter when they’re seen hanging out with WWE wrestlers outside of the ring.

Naomi tweeted a series of photos of herself and current WWE NXT star Elektra Lopez together at the EDM music festival Electric Daisy Carnival in Orlando on Sunday evening. Lopez has been on NXT for a while and was supposed to be called up to the main roster with the rest of her stable, Legado Del Fantasma. Nevertheless, plans changed, and by the time the group made their debut on WWE SmackDown. Lopez had been replaced by Zelina Vega, who was making her WWE debut.

Lopez returned to NXT shortly after, defeating Sol Ruca in a fairly quick match on the November 8 episode. Lopez’s 1st match in over three months; she last showed up on NXT television in July as part of a battle royal, and she had previously defeated Ruca on NXT Level Up in August. As for Naomi, her WWE future remains uncertain, as the wrestling world awaits any indication that she and Banks are ready to return to WWE. Possibly as early as WWE Survivor Series on November 26, that will be held in Banks’ hometown of Boston.

Women’s Tag Team Championships

Sasha Banks and Naomi have not been seen in the wrestling world since walking out of a WWE Raw taping on May 16, abdicating their Women’s Tag Team Championships in the procedure. Since then, the two have appeared together loads of times, whether it be at signings, press conferences, or even on the catwalk, but they have reunited with several other WWE Superstars this week.

Sasha Banks, who got to play Koska Reeves in Disney+’s The Mandalorian, had the opportunity to incorporate elements from the wrestling world into her fight with Boba Fett. She hit a DDT in the scene, but she revealed that the original plan was for me to do an arm drag or a chokehold takeover. I was just going to look at the pillar up the wall and Boba, and I was thinking, I think I can do something better, she explained.
