Ms. Marvel is an upcoming American television miniseries created by Bisha K. Ali for the streaming service Disney+. Indeed, it is based on the Marvel Comics character Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel. Let’s know who all from Pakistan are part of this.
So, this series is expected to premiere on Disney+ in February, according to reports. Kamala Khan first appeared in Captain Marvel #14 in August 2013. However, she immediately found her way into other kinds of media, including the animated series Rising and computer games like Marvel’s Avengers.
Earlier, characters from Pakistan were depicted by non-Lollywood actors. but year 2022 started with different note. Many Pakistani actors are going to Hollywood. One of the most exciting projects in this regard is Miss Marvel who is a Pakistani-origin character. Many of our Lollywood talented stars will also be seen in the upcoming project.
Earlier this month, rumors were making rounds on social media that Fawad Khan will be the part of upcoming series. Recently, Fawad Khan has confirmed his role in the upcoming series, laying to rest months of speculation around the same. In his recent interaction with Anupama Chopra, Fawad addressed questions about it. Whether he was a part of the Marvel show to which he replied, “Yeah, I am”. He further reiterated, “I can’t deny that or lie about it because they have put out the news themselves”.
So, apart from Fawad Khan in a pivotal role, we have Nimra Bucha final in, too. And now Mehwish Hayat has also allegedly joined the series. She’ll be making her Hollywood debut with Miss Marvel. Mehwish has been missing from our screens for quite some time now and it is great news that she has bagged a part in an internationally awaited series.
