About Ms Marvel

Ms Marvel is an upcoming American television miniseries created by Bisha K. Ali for the streaming service Disney+. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Kamala Khan / Ms Marvel. Kamala Khan first appeared in Captain Marvel #14 in August 2013. However, she immediately found her way into other kinds of media, including the animated series Rising and computer games like Marvel’s Avengers.

Earlier, characters from Pakistan were depicted by non-Lollywood actors but the year 2022 started on a different note. Many Pakistani actors are going to Hollywood. One of the most exciting projects in this regard is Miss Marvel who is a Pakistani-origin character. Many of our Lollywood talented stars will also be seen in the upcoming project.

Ms. Marvel is written by Bisma K. Ali, and directed by Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah , and Meera Memon. The cast includes Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Matt Lintz, Saagar Shaikh, Yasmeen Fletcher, Rish Shah. Along with Mohan Kapoor, Nimra Bucha, Zenobia Shroff, Laurel Marsden, Travina Springer, Azhar Usman, and Laith Nakli. Bollywood actor and singer Farhan Akhtar will also be making a guest appearance on the show.

Show Reviews Are As Following

Washington Post describes the series as ‘Ms. Marvel follows the story of 16-year-old Kamala Khan, a Pakistani American teen juggling high school, superpowers and a famiy secret.

If multiple reviewers are to be believed then, Ms Marvel stays truer to its original comic story than any other series. It is very close to MCU comic pages coming to life. It’s intensive, bright and a ton of fun.

Unfortunately, Ms Marvel receives only one star from ComicBook.com. Forbes says, “… looking at the data, it’s impossible not to see what’s going on with Ms Marvel”. Forbes highlights the extremely uneven distribution of poor reviews on Ms Marvel.

NBC reports bash those giving poor reviews, “blasting its diversity, calling it too woke and cringe”. IMDB chose not to troll and gave one star. The reviewer told it just isn’t good. He said, “No one cares about the race or beliefs of the main character. The show is undoubted the worst MCU product to date, by a significant margin. There was nothing original about the effects and score as the critics drooled over”.
