Bollywood actress Mouni Roy had gone to UAE for a 4-days work trip but she got stuck there for more than 2 months!
The lockdown made the world come to a standstill. And people had no option but to remain where they were. Actress Mouni Roy too got stuck in UAE with just 4 days’s clothes.
She had gone there in March for a 4-days work trip which got extended to two months. Mouni is currently staying with her childhood friend. In a recent conversation with Mid Day, she said, “After the shoot, I decided to stay back in Abu Dhabi for two weeks, as my next project was scheduled to kick off only on April 15. I was possibly ignorant, but I didn’t imagine that the world will shut down. I have been stuck here with four days’ clothes.”
The actress also talked about how she is concerned for her family living in Cooch Behar. She has been checking on them every day her brother is by her mom’s side at this time.
Talking about the lockdown, Mouni said, “I have been oscillating between anxiety and calmness. Everybody around the world is going through a hard time. So, I sought solace in the fact that I have a roof over my head and a warm family, away from home. That said, I am eager to return to India.”
Meanwhile on the work front, Mouni Roy has a big Bollywood release coming up. She is a part of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. However, nothing can be said about the release yet due to the ongoing lockdown.
