Money by Lisa of BLACKPINK Becomes The First K-Pop Debut, First K-Pop B-Side, First K-Pop Solo, & Fastest K-Pop Female Song To Reach 600M On Spotify

Lisa, real name Lalisa Manoban, continues to break records, make her fans proud, and prove herself as one of the most successful K-Pop artists. Lisa was first introduced as a K-Pop artist and a BLACKPINK member back in 2016. Later on, she made her official debut as a solo artist in 2021 with her first single album titled – LALISA. Her first album consisted of two songs – LALISA and MONEY. She was also part of a collab single with DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion, titled SG.

Lisa recently became the fastest K-Pop Act to surpass one billion streams on Spotify. In addition, her song “Money” and her album “Lalisa” currently both stand as the most-streamed K-Pop soloist song and the most-streamed K-Pop soloist album on the music streaming platform. Lisa was also the most-streamed female K-Pop solo artist on Spotify this year.

There are other platforms where Lisa has established her supremacy outside Spotify. Her first single Lalisa M/V earned more than 70 million views in its first 24 hours on the site, breaking the previous record for the most views for a solo artist music video on its first day. Furthermore, Money and Lalisa both have more than 500 million YouTube views. In addition, Lisa has 85 million Instagram followers, making her the most popular K-Pop star on the platform.

In her latest achievement, Lisa has once again earned a range of impressive titles. Her b-side song “MONEY” has surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify. With this, it becomes the FIRST K-Pop debut song, the FIRST K-Pop B-side, the FIRST K-Pop Solo Song, and the FASTEST Female K-Pop song to reach this milestone.

BLACKPINK’s How You Like That reached 600M streams in 640 days. MONEY has done it in 474 days, therefore, creating a new record as the fastest K-Pop female song to achieve 600M streams on Spotify.
