Mimi, starring Kriti Sanon will be released on Netflix & Jio cinema on July 30
Mimi, starring Kriti Sanon, will be released on Netflix and Jio Cinema on July 30th, according to the actor. The play is based on the feature film Mala Aai Vhaaychya, directed by Samruddhi Porey, which received the National Award for Best Marathi Feature Film in 2011.
The film was supposed to be released in theatres last year, but it was postponed due of the COVID-19 outbreak, so the producers went with an OTT release. Sanon, who has appeared in films such as Heropanti, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Luka Chuppi, announced the news on Instagram.
“In July, she will receive an unexpected offer that will transform her LIFE! The #MimiTrailer will be released in three days, on Tuesday! #NothingLikeWhatYoureExpecting! “#Mimi is out on @officialjiocinema & @netflix in on the 30th of July,” she posted beside the film’s official poster.

Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films is producing the Hindi version in collaboration with Jio Studios. Veteran actors Manoj Pahwa, Supriya Pathak, and Sai Tamhankar also star in Mimi.
