Singer Miley Cyrus is back on our screens after recently welcoming the New Year with an ombre Versace Spring/Summer 2006 gown along with a one-shouldered dress from Bob Mackie’s Fall/Winter 2002 collection.
She recently wore a goddess-draped vintage Yves Saint Laurent. It was an amphorae-shaped hooded cut-out gown from Yves Saint Laurent’s Autumn/Winter 1991/92 collection. The dress is imagined in metallic lamé and Miley was wearing it while walking through the roads of Los Angeles in her “Flowers” video.
Miley has worn vintage pieces before as she has a wardrobe full of rock n’ roll pieces that were designed by the creative director, Anthony Vaccarello. For instance, she donned a floral Fall/Winter 2018 minidress while singing on Saturday Night Live.
Yves Saint Laurent’s current collection for Spring/Summer 2023 is a tribute to the hooded silhouettes. It includes fluid jersey gowns which have been approved by Olivia Wilde, Kate Moss, and Blackpink’s Rose on the red carpet.
Miley’s wardrobe will definitely include some vintage treasures now.
