The four-day BTS performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles is shaping up to be quite the spectacle. After two years, the global K-pop group is performing offline concerts in front of a live crowd. Their ‘Map of the Soul’ globe tour had previously been cancelled owing to the pandemic, leaving fans disappointed.
But, to make up for it, BTS is going all out for their Los Angeles shows. And fans are more excited than ever, with every hotel near SoFi stadium sold out and automobiles with BTS-personalized licence plates clogging the streets of Los Angeles. Well, it appears to be worthwhile because Megan Thee Stallion will be performing on Day 2 of BTS.
The ‘ButterTheeRemix’ by BTS and Megan Thee Stallion could be the best collaboration of the year. Megan originally went to court because she was not allowed to release her verse by her label. 3J — J-hope, Jungkook, and Jimin — released an exclusive dance cover of the ‘Butter’ remix following the historic release.
We also got the two acts to perform together in NYC while BTS was in town for their UNGA speech. Megan was also set to perform live at the 2021 AMAs; however, her appearance was cancelled due to her inability to attend the event.
Fans Go Crazy Over Megan’s Appearance On ‘PTD On Stage’
ARMY and Hotties, on the other hand, do not have to wait any longer. Megan, Becky G, and Zayn were initially seen by fans on the first day of BTS’ LA show. The ARMY queued up outside the stadium during BTS’ second day of soundcheck at SoFi; heard Megan and understood she would be joining the K-pop supergroup. And now it’s finally going to happen. Megan Thee Stallion surprised the audience at the start of the ‘Butter’ stage; when everyone yelled her slogan, “It’s thee hot lady coach,” during the day 2 concert, which is presently taking place.
And fans are going gaga over the collab stage. They trended ‘BUTTERTHEEREMIX’ as they posted photos and fancams of the performance on Twitter. One ARMY shared, “YOONGI POINTED AT MEGAN WHILE SINGING THE LINE “GOT THAT RIGHT BODY AND THAT RIGHT MIND” BYE I WILL LITERALLY NOT STOP POSTING FANCAMS FROM BUTTERTHEEREMIX.” Another added, “Houston’s finest in the room with bosses.”
One tweeted, “Megan and Namjoon vibing together! I love to see it.” Another fan posted, “MEGTAN COLLAB OF THE CENTURY.” One ARMY commented, “The way they let Megan stand in the center position.” “I’m gonna get this picture tattooed on my mthf***** skin IS THE HOT GIRL COUCH AND BTS,” said one fan.
