Mahabharat actor Satish Kaul asks the industry for financial help as he struggles for basic needs

Actor Satish Kaul, who has worked in a number of films and TV shows, is currently struggling for medicines and basic needs!

The lockdown has made things worse for a lot of people including the actor Satish Kaul. He is currently in Ludhiana and struggling to fulfil his basic needs. That is why the actor has now appealed to the industry to help him financially.

Talking to PTI, he said, “I’m staying in a small rented place in Ludhiana. I was staying in an old age home earlier but then I’m here at this place with my good samaritan Satya Devi. My health is ok, I’m doing fine but the lockdown has made matters worse. I’m struggling for medicines, groceries and basic needs. I appeal to the industry people to help me. I got so much love as an actor, I need some attention now as a human in need.”

He had moved to Punjab from Mumbai in 2011 starting an acting school. However the project couldn’t be a success. The veteran actor had also suffered a fracture in 2015 after which he moved to an old-age home for 2 years.

Kaul went on talking about all the love he received as an actor. “It’s ok if they’ve forgotten me. I got so much of love and I’m grateful. I will forever be indebted to the audience for that. Right now, I wish I am able to buy a decent place of my own where I can stay,” he said.

Satish Kaul played the role of Lord Indra in Mahabharat. He has also acted in films like Pyaar Toh Hona He Tha, Aunty No 1 and the show Vikram Aur Betaal.
