Madcap Moss Is Apparently Dating Former WWE Superstar

Madcap Moss is now on a bit of a roll since moving away from Happy Corbin earlier this year, winning eight of his last ten televised matches. But, whereas things are good in the ring, life appears to be even better outside of it. Impact Wrestling Knockout Tenille Dashwood posted a picture of herself and Moss at a bar on Instagram and Twitter Tuesday afternoon, implying the two were now a pair.

Dashwood stated in both posts, I’ve finally found my captain.MMany people are familiar with Dashwood from her six-year run in WWE as Emma, where she, along with Paige, played an important role in the development of NXT’s women’s division. She left the company in 2017 and continued to work on the individual circuit as well as Ring of Honor’s Women of Honor division prior to actually joining Impact Wrestling in 2019.

Dashwood and Moss did work together for nearly three years in WWE after Moss joined the company in 2014, once Dashwood was in NXT. Dashwood lately won gold in Impact with tag team partner Madison Rayne. The duo, known as The Influence, beaten Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay in March to win the Impact Knockout’s Tag Team Championships; they would hold the titles until they were overthrown by Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary at Slammiversary in June.

Dashwood was last seen on Impact on July 14th, where she lost in less than two minutes to Masha Slamovich. Meanwhile, Rayne announced earlier today that she would be joining AEW as a female’s division coach, essentially ending her time with Impact.

Moss was most lately seen on the July 22 show of WWE SmackDown collaborating with the Street Profits to beat The Usos and Theory, who the Moss had previously defeated by disqualification the week before. His most important match of the month was indeed the Men’s Money in the Bank fight at Money in the Bank, in which he was one of the seven men who lost when Theory retrieved the briefcase. Madcap Moss has been with WWE since 2014, mostly in NXT.

Moss briefly appeared on the main roster along with Mojo Rawley, where he turned on Rawley and won the 24/7 Championship, but that was short-lived.  He brought back to television in 2021 as Happy Corbin’s sidekick, telling jokes to keep him entertained. Moss had had enough of Corbin’s treatment of him and turned on him a few weeks ago, to his delight. Moss has decimated Corbin in their first two meetings, the first at WrestleMania Backlash and the 2nd at Hell in a Cell.
