South Korean girl group BLACKPINK is currently on their Born Pink World Tour, which began on October 15, 2022, in Seoul, South Korea, and is set to conclude on June 17, 2023, in Sydney, Australia. The tour is in support of their second Korean studio album, Born Pink. The tour has visited 21 countries in four continents, and it is considered one of the most successful tours of the year.
One of the group’s members, Lisa, recently did a magazine shoot and interview with Harper’s Bazaar Singapore. During the interview, Lisa shared her future plans, saying that she wants to travel to a place she has never been to before with her family after the tour. Lisa mentioned that she would like to visit Egypt, among other places.
Rather than a big adventure, I would like to travel to a place I’ve never been before with my family after the tour. It doesn’t have to be a trip around the world, but I would like to visit a country I’ve never visited before, especially Egypt! Last year was a very busy year for me, and our “Born Pink World Tour” is scheduled to run until June [with a stop in Singapore on 13 and 14 May], so I’m really looking forward to my trip.
BLACKPINK is also set to headline two major music festivals this year, including BST Hyde Park in the UK and Coachella in the US. Despite their success, the group’s future is uncertain as their contract with YG Entertainment is set to expire in August. So far, the group has no confirmed schedule after June, when their Born Pink World Tour ends.
Fans of BLACKPINK are eagerly anticipating news of the group’s future plans, including whether they will sign a new contract with YG Entertainment or move to a new agency. Many are hoping that the group will continue to release new music and perform for their fans worldwide.
In the meantime, BLACKPINK members are focusing on their current tour and upcoming festival performances, bringing their unique sound and style to audiences around the world. Their success continues to inspire and delight fans, who eagerly await news of what’s next for the popular K-pop group.
