If you are a fan of K-pop, you must have heard of the two biggest groups in the industry: BTS and BLACKPINK. These two groups have been dominating the global music scene with their catchy songs, stunning visuals, and charismatic performances. But did you know that they also have a connection through a luxury fashion brand?
That’s right, Lisa of BLACKPINK, Taehyung (also known as V) of BTS, and Park Bogum, a popular actor and model, are all brand ambassadors for Celine, a French fashion house founded by Hedi Slimane. Celine is known for its chic and modern designs that appeal to young and trendy customers.
In 2022, all three of these stars came together to attend a Celine fashion show in Paris, where they showed off their elegant and stylish outfits. They also posed for some photos together, making fans go wild with excitement. It was a rare occasion to see a BTS and a BLACKPINK member in the same event, let alone in the same picture.
But that was not the end of their interaction. On March 30, 2023, they again came together to attend a Celine pop-up store event in South Korea.
Taehyung took to Instagram to share two pictures from the event. The first picture in the slide is his own, where he is wearing a long black coat that gave him a mysterious and charismatic aura. He looks cool and handsome as he smiles at the camera.
The second picture features Taehyung with Lisa and Bogum. They are all wearing Celine outfits and accessories, and they look like a trio of models. Taehyung captioned the picture “🤭#celinebyhedislimane #celinekorea”.
This is a significant moment as this is the first time a BLACKPINK member has appeared on the Instagram profile of a BTS member. Fans were thrilled to see this unexpected collaboration and expressed their admiration and support for the three stars.
