Lisa & Jennie Rank As The Most-Searched BLACKPINK Members on Google In The US After Coachella

BLACKPINK has made history by becoming the first K-pop group to headline at the legendary music festival, Coachella, and their performance was nothing short of amazing. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa took to the main stage and wowed the audience with their exceptional vocals, impeccable dance skills and magnetic stage presence. They showcased some of their most beloved hits including “DU-DDU DU-DDU,” “Pink Venom,” “How You Like That,” “Pretty Savage,” “Typa Girl” and “Shut Down,” as well as their solo tracks, such as Lisa’s “Money,” Jisoo’s “Flower,” Jennie’s “You&Me Remix” and Rosé’s “On The Ground.” The crowd was ecstatic and the group’s electrifying performance was also streamed live to an estimated 250 million viewers worldwide.

But among the four members, who caught the most attention from the American audience? According to data provided by Google Trends, Lisa and Jennie both ranked as the most-searched BLACKPINK members in the US on the 16th – the day of BLACKPINK’s historic Coachella performance in California.

Lisa, who is from Thailand, is known for her rap skills and dance moves. She wowed the crowd with her explicit version of Money, which featured her dropping F-bombs and flaunting her confidence. Lisa has a huge fan base on social media, with over 90M million followers on Instagram and over 11 million subscribers on YouTube.

Jennie, who is from Korea but spent part of her childhood in New Zealand, is known for her vocals and rap skills. She performed her hit solo song You&Me Remix, which showcased her versatility and charisma. She also shone with her powerful rap verses in songs like Pink Venom and Shut Down. Jennie has a strong fashion sense and has been dubbed as the “Human Chanel” by fans. The music video for her solo debut single “Solo” is currently the most-watched MV on YouTube by a female K-Pop soloist with over 900M views.

Jisoo and Rosé also received a lot of love from the fans. Jisoo performed her recent single Flower, which highlighted her sweet vocals and elegant visuals. Rosé performed a medley of her solo songs Gone and On The Ground, which showcased her unique vocal tone and emotional delivery.

BLACKPINK has proven that they are a global phenomenon with their Coachella performance. BLACKPINK will return to Coachella next Saturday on 22nd April. The group is also going on an encore concert in North America and headlining BST Hyde Park.
