LA Knight

LA Knight Has Been Proposed As Austin’s WrestleMania 39 Opponent

LA Knight is currently enjoying an exceptional run. On March 20th, it will have been two months since his most recent WWE triumph. He has an 18-match losing streak throughout live events, premium live events, and TV programs. That might be 19 when Rey Mysterio, a 48-year-old legend, is the opponent next week.

Rey Mysterio grew more irritated with his son Dominik on the most recent SmackDown episode as he persisted in refusing the WrestleMania challenge posed to him. The legend was later approached backstage by LA Knight, who informed him that he would face his son instead and adopt the new alias, “LA Mysterio.” LA Knight would be confused as a furious Mysterio struck him.

Mysterio vs. Knight is the first bout promoted for the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Watching the events unfold will be entertaining. Knight, who this week lost to Xavier Woods on the blue brand, had another disappointing game. He sneered at Woods and Madcap Moss for playing 2K23 backstage, which led to everything.

What led to the formation of this match?

His current losing streak, which includes a defeat in a live event battle royal, stands at 18, and his most recent victory occurred on January 20, 2023, over an enhancement talent before his match with Bray Wyatt. His most recent victory over a WWE star was against Ricochet on October 28, 2022. For him, it’s been a while.

It stands to reason that Stone Cold Steve Austin will attempt the same feat at SoFi Stadium this year after doing so successfully at WrestleMania 38’s main event of Night 1. A recent source claimed that LA Knight has been proposed as Austin’s WrestleMania 39 opponent as Kevin Owens is more preoccupied with other matters. Although nothing is certain, the longest losing run for the former Impact Wrestling star looks to be a part of a larger strategy.
