Kevin Feige Brought Back Reed Richards On Fans Demand , Says Sam Raimi

Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was released in theatres on May 6th. Fans were excited to see what the movie had to offer with its multiverse concept.

Also, the major part that the audience was excited to see was the Illuminati. In various trailers and teasers of the film, we got to see a glimpse of the Illuminati members and so the fans were quite excited for the introduction of the Illuminati members.

Some of the fans were excited to watch Reed Richards of Fantastic 4 back but some weren’t as there were many negative comments by fans like ” I don’t love the choice to make him Mr. Fantastic” and “It was incredibly a stale performance” “extremely happy that Wanda killed of John Krasinski’s Mr. Fantastic” and so on.

The Illuminati consists of 5 members Professor X, Captain Carter, Bolt, Captain Marvel & Reed Richards. Sam Raimi the director of Dr. Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness explained why they brought back John Krasinski’s Reed Richards.

As the film is available digitally and contains the commentary of the director. Sam Raimi spoke about why Kevin Feige cast John Krasinski’s Reed Richards variant. He said, “It’s so funny that Kevin Feige cast John Krasinski because the fans had a dream of who the perfect Reed Richards would be. And because this is an alternate universe, I think Kevin said, ‘ Let’s make that dream come true.”

Not only the director but writer Michael Waldron shared a few words about the Fantastic 4’s Reed Richards, he said that he was his favorite marvel comic character and It was his honor to write his first entry to the MCU. He praises John for his amazing performance and how he brought the role of Reed Richards to life.

Also, a future Fantastic Four movie was announced by Marvel but we don’t really know if John will reprise the role or not.
